Write the week's cash on one page

Write the week's cash on one page. This desk note is about the cash that came in and went out this week. It fits a business that still has one decision-maker.

Sequence

Do it in this order: list the ins and the outs with dates, then stop. Stop when the next step needs a number you do not have. Inventing the number is not a step.

The habit to drop

The expensive habit is a total with no dates under it. Replace it with a line on paper you can find next week.

The note is done when every line has a date and a source. If a customer, a supplier, or a tax date is involved, use the real date, not a rounded one.

The "The week's money" page stays practical only while it names an owner and a next action. The cash that came in and went out this week without a next action is a wish.

A desk note. It does not predict revenue, and it is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
