Mail gets opened on a named day

Mail gets opened on a named day. This desk note is about the week's mail. It fits a business that still has one decision-maker.

Sequence

Do it in this order: open it on that day and write what needs an answer. Stop when the next step needs a number you do not have. Inventing the number is not a step.

The habit to drop

The expensive habit is a pile that is always for later. Replace it with a line on paper you can find next week.

The note is done when the pile has a date when it was opened. If a customer, a supplier, or a tax date is involved, use the real date, not a rounded one.

The "A one-person shop" page stays practical only while it names an owner and a next action. The week's mail without a next action is a wish.

A desk note. It does not predict revenue, and it is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
