A thank-you names the work

A thank-you names the work. This desk note is about a short thanks after finished work. It fits a business that still has one decision-maker.

Sequence

Do it in this order: name the work, not a slogan. Stop when the next step needs a number you do not have. Inventing the number is not a step.

The habit to drop

The expensive habit is a generic thanks that could be for anyone. Replace it with a line on paper you can find next week.

The note is done when the note mentions the actual job. If a customer, a supplier, or a tax date is involved, use the real date, not a rounded one.

The "Customers" page stays practical only while it names an owner and a next action. A short thanks after finished work without a next action is a wish.

A desk note. It does not predict revenue, and it is not tax, legal, or accounting advice.
